This afternoon is a “Vigil Against the Drones” at Volk Field. This is a legal vigil on public property. Meet at 3pm for introductions and to review the plan for the vigil, then process together to the gates of the base for a solemn, one-hour vigil to remember those killed by drones. This afternoon, folk musician Chris Vallillo performs an “Abraham Lincoln in Song” concert, using period and contemporary songs to bring the President’s story to life. There is a cost for this event. “Design for Nature-Based Play in Schools and Parks” takes place on Saturday, May 9th.
