Angela Davis, the ‘60s icon of racial justice, wrote a book in 2003 entitled “Are Prisons Obsolete?” Tonight, the Madison branch of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom sponsors a discussion of this book at 6pm in room 148 of the South Park Street campus of Madison College, across the parking lot from the South Madison Library in the Village Mall, 2238 South Park Street.
