2017 marks the fourteenth year of the U.S. war in Iraq. On today’s A Public Affair, Allen Ruff attempts to acquire the understanding of this war and how it came about.
Joining Allen by phone is Adam David Morton. Morton has recently been delivering a series of talk at the University of Wisconsin Havens Center. His current institutional base is the Department of Political Economy at the University of Sydney. Previously he was an Associate Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham.
Morton is the author of a number of works on the political economy, the relationship of the state and capitalist development in Mexico and elsewhere, and more recently is the co-author of “Axis of Evil or Access to Diesel: Spaces of New Imperialism and the Iraq War.”
