According to the best estimates from public health officials, a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus is still at least a year away. But that hasn’t stopped some medical researchers from looking for short-term cures for the pandemic.
Dr. William Hartman is an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and Public Health. Along with a consortium of other researchers around the nation, his team is looking for a temporary treatment for the respiratory disease.
