Standing water is the enemy of the comfortable back yard. And with more standing water than usual after historic rainfall over the past week and a half, heightened mosquito concerns among Wisconsinites are natural.
But as annoying as mosquitoes are, they can also be dangerous. Some types of mosquitoes carry illnesses like West Nile virus.
