It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes our guests can’t make it to our show. That happened for this week’s show. But my colleague Bill Scanlon and I, Dennis Shaffer, tried once again to use the airwaves to drum up new volunteers for PNM. By the end of the year, the PNM volunteer collective will be down to barely one person to produce and cover science topics on a weekly basis. This is more than just one or one and a half people can manage to maintain the high quality of our shows. We believe that a few of our listening audience would like to know how we manage to put a show together. Well, now is your chance to find out, and at the same time, give PNM a much needed “shot in the arm” with new ideas! If you think you’re interested, call Molly at WORT at 608-256-2001. Or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. But even better, come to the station to see us in action when we have a show any Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
