The annual State of the Tribes address begins at 1pm on Tuesday, Feb 13th.
This year, the keynote speaker will be Gary Besaw, the Former Chairman of the Menominee nation.
Each year, the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council selects a member to give the address, which constitutional officers, members of the state Supreme Court and Senate are invited to attend. Both the address and the reception that follows the speech are open to the public. The speech takes place in the Wisconsin State Assembly at the State Capitol.
