Tonight, Madison Public Library continues it’s Created Equal Film Series, screening the film “Freedom Riders,” with guest facilitator Dr. Craig Werner, from the UW-Madison Department of Afro-American Studies. Tonight, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom Madison Branch hosts a program titled “Madison Witnesses: NAFTA, Immigration, Deportations.” Sue Bradley and David Wanisch will report on the Witness for Peace delegation to Southern Mexico, and Mary Somers will report personal experiences with deportees at the Tucson border. Rainbow Bookstore’s Radical Summer Skool is free, all-ages, and open to all. Tonight’s session is Social Justice Facilitation Skillshare.
