Rory Fanning is a former U.S. Army Ranger who served two tours in Afghanistan and turned antiwar. Days before he left the military as a conscientious objector, his comrade and unit-mate Pat Tillman was killed. Fanning later walked across the U.S. for the Pat Tillman Foundation.
