Tonight is a free conservation park tour at Cherokee Marsh. Diverse natural habitats in a large landscape provide a mecca for birds and other wildlife. This year marks the 150th anniversary of Juneteenth in American History – the event totally dedicated to the African American experience. Madion’s Juneteenth Kickoff Parade is this Friday at 4pm at Brittingham Park, 829 West Washington, and will be followed by an evening Praise Celebration at Fountain of Life Church, 633 West Badger Road.
