Karma R. Chavez is a tenured associate professor at the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Department of Communication Arts, founder of the Queer Migration Research Network, and author of the book “Queer Migrations Politics.” She is also the Wednesday host of APA. She will be leaving the UW-Madison for the University of Texas- Austin.
Holly Hassel is a professor of English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County in Wausau. She is the chair of the UW Colleges Women’s Studies program and the college’s faculty senate representative.
