Doctor Alhaji Njai is so well-known in Madison and many other corners of the world for his work on WORT’s PanAfrica Show and for Project 1808 in his home town in Sierra Leone. He’s also pretty well known for his scholarship and research in biomedicine and global health projects, for public health advocacy and teaching and mentoring in Sierra Leone. We hope to get an update on what we know and find out more about what Alhaji’s been doing since we last talked to him. Little did we know he had been appointed as Director of University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health Institute (GHI) One Health West Africa Center!
