WORT rocks The Wisco with three great bands in our Musicians for WORT series to celebrate Willy Street Fair Weekend. The show begins at 9:30 pm tonight, Saturday, September 16th at The Wisco/Willy St. Pub, on the corner of Williamson and Paterson.
Royal Station opens the show with a sonic collage of blues, gospel, and psychobilly warped into a psychedelic/industrial spooky dream-scape of synth, guitar, drums, bass and dramatic vocals. Ladyscissors brings lo-fi garage rock with a healthy dose of the doo-wop, sure to get the crowd on its feet. Square Bombs cap the night with post-garage flower punk featuring former and current members of Baristacide, Shallow Affect, The Penfield Mood Organ, and Gentle Brontosaurus.
WORT DJ El Serpentine of Rattlesnake Shake will keep the joint jumpin’ between sets.
Donation suggested at the door to support WORT Community Radio.
