Donations from this drive will pay part of WORT’s monthly expenses: electricity, phones, salaries, transmitter fees, satellite fees, heating and air conditioning.
Expenses that continue during the 46 weeks a year that we don’t have pledge drives.
Compared to other radio stations our costs are small. In fact, we’ve decreased our costs by 10% in the last year, to run as efficiently and effectively as we can.
But no matter how far we trim our costs, it comes down to you. We depend on you for 70% of our income.
We need a strong finish these last three days of the drive to hit our goal of $95,000.
