The 8 O’Clock Buzz spoke with Kate Golden and Bill Lueders from the Wisconsin Center For Investigative Journalism on Monday, March 4, 2013.
Golden and Lueders talk about about up-and-coming stories that the organization is currently researching, as well as their recently published stories. These include an expose of a new law that conceals abuse at nursing homes and another law that’s led to an increase in surgical abortions in the state.
The Wisconsin Center For Investigative Journalism is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that investigates important news stories that many news organizations can’t afford to do anymore. They publish on their website and give these stories away for free to media outlets across the state.
This is the first edition of a new regular segment for the Monday Buzz show. On the first Monday of every month, Golden and Lueders will be talking about ongoing investigations.
