The Wisconsin Film Festival is virtual again this year and running through Thursday, May 20.
For today’s show, we bring you a “double feature”! Monday host Patty Peltekos speaks with two of the filmmakers from this year’s film fest.
First, we hear from Gretta Wing Miller, director of How to Form a Union, a documentary about unionization at the Willy Street Co-op.
Then, Yael Bridge joins us to talk about her film, The Big Scary “S” Word, about the history of the American socialist movement—with a big shout-out to Wisconsin’s involvement.
All films are available to watch through this Thursday, May 20. You can find the Wisconsin Film Fest guide here.
