Now in it’s fourth year, the Wisconsin Science Festival takes over the UW Madison campus this Thursday through Sunday, with offerings running the gamut from archaeology to astronomy to zoology, physics, football and the chemistry of the Old Fashioned cocktail. Scientists from the UW and elsewhere will give lectures, hands-on demonstrations and yes, maybe blow some things up, for the general public’s entertainment and amusement. Laura Heisler from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, one of the sponsors of the event, joined the Buzz on Monday, October 13 to help us navigate through the myriad options.
