It’s Pride Month! In commemoration of the Stonewall riots fifty years ago, on June 28, 1969, we spend the hour reflecting on Wisconsin’s own gay history. Guest host Chali Pittman is joined in the studio by R. Richard “Dick” Wagner, the first openly gay member of the Dane County Board of Supervisors and author of We’ve Been Here All Along: Wisconsin’s Early Gay History (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2019).
The Madison Public Library is hosting a book event with Richard Wagner this evening, Tuesday, June 25, at 7:00 PM at the Central Library (201 W. Mifflin St). Event details available here.
