Who’s going?
Dan Talmo, host of Global Revolutions has attended several years in the past along with his wife, photographer and newly published author, Paula White.
DJ Spincycle, aka Ankur Malhotra, well known to many WORT listeners for his programming on PanAfrica, Hejira and the Friday 8:00 Buzz has attended more years than any of us can count. He’s also there representing his label and the artists of Amarass Records/India.
Gloria Hays, co-host of PanAfrica and also heard on several WORT world music shows for decades including On The Horizon and Hejira was hooked after attending the 1st time, fulfilling a dream in Katowice, Poland/2017.
Hosts including Jeff Spitzer-Resnick collected music from and interviewed a variety of musicians from all over the globe.
WORT listeners have been introduced to such artists as Maija Kauhanen, Anna Dantchev and Elkin Robison, among many others heard on a variety of shows on WORT.
This is a unique gathering and networking opportunity which also includes workshops, showcases, mentoring sessions, films and so much more.
