If so, WORT wants you as our next board operator. We’re seeking our next permanent board operator for several high-profile talk shows. Punctuality, reliability, and an understanding of basic computer operations are necessary, but no experience in broadcasting is required and all training is provided. Applicants should be able to make a commitment of one year or more.
Morning person? The Monday 8 O’Clock Buzz seeks a board operator to run the sound board for host Brian Standing during a weekly, fast-paced morning talk show. More of an afternoon person? We’re seeking two individuals to run our afternoon talk block once a week. Volunteer on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 11:30am to 2:05pm, and help us get the locally-produced A Public Affair and syndicated show Letters & Politics on the air.
