If this sounds like you then WORT wants you as a receptionist! Each day and shift for a receptionist has different responsibilities based on the programming schedule.
Punctuality, reliability, and an understanding of basic computer operations are necessary, but no experience in reception is required and all training is provided. Applicants should be able to make a commitment of one year or more.
We are seeking receptionists for shifts throughout the week. Depending on your availability and what you prefer you could have one of the following shifts:
Monday: 8 AM – 11 AM
8 O’Clock Buzz and Global Revolutions
Tuesday:
12 PM – 2 PM: A Public Affair and Letters & Politics
2 PM – 5 PM: Fire Worship or Petrichor Radio.
5 PM – 8 PM: Democracy Now, The Local News, and En Nuestro Patio
Wednesday: 8 AM – 11 AM
8 O’Clock Buzz and Back To The Country
Thursday:
8 AM – 11 AM: 8 O’Clock Buzz and Hejira
5 PM – 8 PM: Democracy Now, The Local News, Queery, and This Way Out
Friday:
8 AM – 11 AM: 8 O’Clock Buzz and Mud Acres
5 PM – 8 PM: Democracy Now, Labor Radio, and Blues Cruise
None of these work for your schedule on a regular basis? We are also looking for fill-in receptionists!
