The spring 2022 election is today, and voters in Madison are making their way to the polls to play their role in democracy.
I went to three polling locations across the city, and wanted to know what people thought about today’s election. I started off at the Madison College Goodman South campus. It was quiet, but at least it was dry.
While there weren’t too many voters out, the ones that were out said they were passionate about being able to give their voice.
As of 4pm this afternoon, almost 14% of preregistered voters in Madison had voted.
There’s just about two more hours to make your voice heard – polls close at 8pm. If you’re in line by 8pm, stay in line, and you’ll be able to vote.
