Ali Muldrow is the new Wednesday host of A Public Affair, WORT’s weekday lunchtime call-in talk show.
Ali is Co-Director of GSAFE, a Madison non-profit that promotes safe and inclusive schools for LGBT students. She’s an outspoken advocate, community leader, and teacher. She previously ran for Madison School Board and is deeply engaged in the Madison community. She brings passion, thoughtfulness, and compassion with her to the WORT airwaves. Fun fact: this isn’t her first foray into radio- she once interned for local station WTDY in high school!
On her application she says, “I want to create a program that inspires listeners to think critically about their community. I want to spark conversations that are solutions focused and empower people to not only think about issues but to also be driven to address them. “
If you missed her recent conversation about kids and our justice system with Judge Everett Mitchell, take a listen: https://www.wortfm.org/a-
Ali begins Wednesday, December 5th. She’ll be on the air every Wednesday from 12 to 1pm right here on 89.9 on your FM dial and online at wortfm.org/listen-live.
